KTS Leaders Visit InnoEX 2025 in Hong Kong to Explore Global Frontiers in AI-Driven Industrial Automation

(Hong Kong, April 14) – Mr. Liu Yunlai, General Manager of KTS Industrial Systems Co., Ltd., and Ms. Liu Chunlan, Financial Controller, arrived in Hong Kong on April 13 for a two-day visit as professional delegates to the fourth edition of the Hong Kong International Innovation and Technology Expo (InnoEX). Co-organized by the Innovation, Technology and Industry Bureau of the Hong Kong SAR Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC), InnoEX 2025 is being held from April 13 to 16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Under the theme “Innovation • Intelligence • Takeoff,” this year’s expo focuses on five key technological domains: AI+, robotics, low-altitude economy, property tech, and retail tech. The event brings together over 550 exhibitors from 21 countries and regions, including first-time participants from Austria, Germany, Israel, and the United States—underscoring Hong Kong’s growing appeal as a global innovation and technology hub.

A major highlight of this year’s expo is the debut of the “RoboPark” robotics pavilion, featuring more than 100 robotic products designed for diverse applications across three categories: commercial and industrial, health and lifestyle, and entertainment and social robotics. Among the leading players, four of the world’s top five humanoid robot manufacturers by shipment volume in 2024—Zhiyuan Robotics, Unitree, UBTECH, and Zhongqing Robotics—are showcasing their latest innovations. The expo will also host approximately 40 technical demonstrations, application sharing sessions, and networking events to facilitate cross-border collaboration.

As a longstanding developer of non-standard assembly and testing equipment for intelligent automotive chassis components, KTS has been steadily advancing its intelligent manufacturing capabilities. The company has successfully developed China’s first fully automated DP&R-EPS intelligent steering gear assembly line and is actively exploring the integration of AI into industrial production. “Innovation has only a starting point, not a finish line,” said Mr. Liu Yunlai, Founder and General Manager of KTS. Recognizing the transformative opportunities brought by AI-driven manufacturing, KTS is embracing global technological innovation with an open mindset. The visit to InnoEX represents a strategic move to benchmark against international best practices and deepen the company’s technology roadmap.

During the expo, Mr. Liu and his delegation paid focused visits to the robotics and AI+ industrial automation zones, engaging with international exhibitors and technical experts on the latest applications of AI-powered visual recognition, intelligent sensing, and collaborative robot control in smart manufacturing. KTS stated that it will leverage insights gained from the visit to continuously track global trends in industrial automation, and to integrate advanced technological concepts into its own R&D and engineering practices—infusing new technical momentum into intelligent manufacturing for automotive components.

Looking ahead, KTS remains committed to its strategic vision of becoming “a well-recognized smart manufacturing solution provider in China, with a meaningful voice in the international arena.” The company will continue to increase R&D investment, deepen the application of AI technologies in its core business areas of intelligent assembly and precision testing, and drive the continuous evolution of smart manufacturing technologies to higher levels.
